I'm a postdoc in physical chemistry here at uc-berkeley. I am working on a parallel programming algorithm to calculate the polarization energy for proteins and other biological molecules.
I like progressive, avante-garde, and ambient music. I compose dark ambient music that is available for listening under "Edwin Q. Bunnydict" on Soundcloud.
I like to wear platform chunky heel shoes. I wear womens or 70s-style pants.
I feel like I qualify as ugly, because I've been told "It's Pat!", as in the gender-ambiguous SNL character, in high school and again on the street in Seattle when I was on an interview. It's not because of my clothes, because I was called that even in high school. I think it's my body type, unfortunately. I do have wide hips, narrow-set shoulders, a small chin, jaw, and nose, thin wrists. I lift weights and get stronger, and all but I still have the wrong body type. In other words, in terms of desired physical characteristics for a man, I"M UGLY!! ;(;(
